The Cay Caulker Boas were first imported to Germany in 2004 from the U.S. Before this time, this scarce island morph wasn't kept in Europe.

The first litter in Europe was produced the year before last our Cay Caulker Boas.

These boas live to see a boom now who was last experienced in the Hog Island boas in the 80ies.

There are several reasons for this:

  • They are tendentially anerythristic. That is, they are having a very special hue
  • Along with the Tarahumara boas they belong to the most dwarfish boas
  • They are very hardy and show a docile temper
  • Until this success they haven't been bred outside the U.S.
  • Their appearence is cleary different to other Boa c. imperator

The Belize dwarf boas consist of these island forms:

  • the Cay Caulker dwarf boas
  • the Crawl Cay dwarf boas
  • the Ambergris Caye dwarf boas

These variants are almost identical in pattern, hue and size. Therefore we have reduced our stock for one variant. We don't keep and breed Cay Caulker boas anymore. Also, there is no offspring avialable. However, instead of a Cay Caulker boa you can also chose one of the following variants:

Crawl Cay dwarf boas offspring

Ambergris Caye dwarf boas offspring

These variants are almost identical to the Cay Caulker boas.
